The unseasonably chilly weather yesterday inspired me to comb the interwebs for knitwear, and I stumbled upon this beautiful creation from Acne Studios. Yes, it’s July, but this is perfect for surviving another Chicago winter! The thought of wearing a ski mask out of necessity crossed my mind several times last year, though sporting one in an urban environment has a little creep factor to it.  This chic scarf, hood, and beanie melange is perfect for the colder months ahead!

I love the asymmetrical drape of the pleats on this LBD. They add just the right amount of movement and interest to a blouson dress. I decided on a combination of simple black and silver accessories, so not to take away any attention from the style of the dress. A fun addition to my Summer dresses!

A pair of distressed jean sorts, v-neck tee and sandals are usually my Summer uniform! Chicago has been receiving cooler temps and a lot of rain these past few months. While this is better than snow and sub-zero temperatures; some real heat and sunshine would be awesome! Especially since this past weekend marked the beginning of Summer!
