With the long winters in Chicago, it’s so important to have great winter boots. First and foremost, they must be warm. We have sub-zero temps, bone chilling wind and we can get a lot of snow. These White Water Duck Boots from Sperry are perfect for such conditions. They are warm and extra soft with a faux fur lining. The rubber outsole provides good traction – especially important when the city is glazed with ice and snow.

This post was a collaboration with Sperry. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting collaborations with Taffeta and Cedar!

Clean lines and simple pieces are always my favorite. I love the pop of this snakeskin top with a pair of white denim and bold black accessories. It’s fresh for spring and can easily transition from the office to drinks on a patio!

I love wearing flowy button-down shirts during the warmer months, and was excited to find this one last week at H&M for just $17! I generally invest in quality over quantity and always make sure it’s something that I really love, not just a label or trend piece. It’s important to purchase items with a purpose. I wear my favorite pieces over and over, whether it be a flowy shirt for $17 or a great investment bag or shoe. Less is more!
