1: Le Volume de Chanel Mascara // 2: Fiona Stiles – Ultra Luxe Nourishing Lip Balm // 3: Byredo – Gypsy Water Hand Cream // 4: Le Vernis Chanel – Garçonne // 5: Dior Addict Pure Ultra Gloss – Tell Me Dior

It’s always refreshing to switch to lighter aromas and softer colors for Spring. Here are a few of my favorites. I generally stick to a natural palette and will occasionally wear a bold lip or something with extra shine. I’m really loving the Fiona Stiles Lip Balm as of late. Mousse Exfoliante Pureté & Lotion Pureté

Chanel_matte_face-1

The humidity in Chicago over the past month is comparable to the tropics, but without the heat or sunshine! So, what this means for anyone with oily skin, is a big change in your daily skincare routine. As I mentioned here, I’ve been using the Hydra Beauty Gel Créme from Chanel, and love it. I’ve recently added the Mousse Exfoliante Pureté and Lotion Pureté from Chanel into my daily skincare routine. The Mousse Exfoliante Pureté helps to eliminate excess sebum and control surface oils, leaving my skin feeling fresh and matte. The Lotion Pureté is depolluting with tulip tree extract and also has meadowsweet extract to help control excess sebum. These two additions have helped to keep my skin looking less shinny and more balanced in this sticky summer weather.

Hydra Beauty from Chanel

A change in temperature and season calls for a change in your daily skincare routine. My skin is very oily and when the humidity rises, it’s time to switch to a lighter moisturizer. I’ve started using the Hydra Beauty Gel Créme from Chanel, and I love it! The Hydra Gel Créme has active ingredients that promote optimal moisture retention within skin cells and antioxidants for protection. Not only does it feel light in texture to the touch, it’s smells gorgeous!
