There’s nothing like a comfortable pair of relaxed boyfriend jeans. They’re so easy to dress up or down with the right pieces. Since the weather has been Spring-like in Chicago, I decided to unpack my strappy sandals and sport a casual linen long sleeve with my comfy boyfriend jeans.

A flowy blouse and jeans are easy for spring weather. To keep this look simple, I accessorized with classic pieces: black pumps, black bag and black sunnies.

Going for a monochromatic look in shades of grey and a few black pieces. Transitioning from winter clothes to lighter spring pieces is a challenge in the Midwest. The temperatures are up and down and it’s inconsistent for a good month and a half. My solution is to layer, but with lighter fabrics and I always have a scarf at arms reach!

I’m loving all the block heel sandals I’m seeing everywhere this Spring. Not only does this style look classic and elegant, it’s also comfortable! They’re perfect with skinny jeans and a tee, or a bit more dressed up for the office. Time for a pedi and new shoes!

I can’t wait to wear lighter fabrics and switch to a Spring wardrobe for good. Let’s put the boots and parkas away, please!! Since it’s still cold in Chicago and sweaters are a must, I’ve been sticking to neutrals and switching to slip-on sneakers and loafers when possible.

A favorite look of mine: blazer, denim and pumps. This is classic and will easily transition from season to season by switching up a few basic pieces. I always think it’s a great idea to invest in quality wardrobe staples that will last and remain timeless.

Where did the warm Spring weather go? Temperatures have dipped back to the mid-thirties with snow flurries… c’mon, Chicago! So until it warms up and the flowers begin to bloom, I’ll wear my floral loafers inside and hope for Spring!

Keeping it simple and neutral for this warmer weather! I love this lightweight linen long sleeve tee from Vince. It’s casual and goes perfect with a pair of black skinny jeans and slip-on sneakers. Everything just seems so much easier and better when the weather is nice. Ha!
