Later this week I’m heading to the Florida beaches for a few days. I’m super excited about all the sunshine, sand, and palm trees awaiting me! Summer is my season, and going to the beach is always on the top of my list. Here are a few of my go-to beach favorites!
dress: Old Navy // shades: Prada // lip: Dior – Lip Glow // sandals: Stuart Weitzman similar
Keeping it simple: warm weather calls for easy dressing with linen and sandals!
shirt: Zara similar // denim: Acne Studios // shades: Céline // bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim // loafers: Prada
I love the look of an oversized cotton shirt with a pair of skinny jeans. Clean lines and easy styling for the win! Since these jeans are bright blue, I kept it simple with classic accessories and colors. I mean, you can never go wrong with a great pair of loafers and sunnies!
shirt: Banana Republic // jeans: Old Navy similar // shades: Prada // sandals: Stuart Weitzman // bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim
Adding a pop of print into my spring wardrobe. It’s refreshing to switch thing up every once and a while – I mean, it’s still a neutral palette. Chicago finally warmed up this past weekend and I was able to leave the house without a coat AND in sandals! Spring fever in full affect!
blouse: Banana Republic // denim: Rag & Bone // shades: Prada // shoes: Old Navy // bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim
You know I love clean lines and minimalistic styling. So when I discovered this crisp white blouse with a vented back shirttail, I immediately added it to my spring wardrobe. I’ve also been swapping out dark denim for lighter blues these past few weeks. Feeling optimistic for Spring. Really, I’m just hoping for warmer weather and fresh blooms in Chicago!
knitwear: Mango // denim: Zara // bag: Barneys New York // shades: Céline // lip: Fiona Stiles Beauty // loafers: Prada
Finally transitioning into warmer weather with light knitwear. Loafers and slip-on sneakers are my go-to shoes for spring. For this look I kept it casual with distressed denim, neutral knitwear and black accessories. To keep it feminine, I chose a driving loafer and a brighter lip for a pop of color. What are some of your favorite transition pieces for spring?
Who doesn’t love a great bag? I choose quality over quantity for the majority of my wardrobe, especially when it comes to an investment bag. I’ve recently come to love Bag Borrow or Steal, an online platform to borrow and share designer bags. It’s such a great way to experience different styles, designers and refresh your accessories. All you have to do is create an account (promotion for new users) and you’re a few clicks away from designer bags shipped to your door! Enjoy!
trench: Burberry // sweater: Madewell // jeans: Armani Exchange // shades: Prada // moccasin boots: Isabel Marant Étoile
This fall has been unseasonably mild for Chicago – no complaints from me! Though a warmer and water-resistant trench is a versatile option to get your through the chillier days ahead. I just added this one to my closet, mostly because of the button-out quilted liner and detachable hood. So, it’s perfect for both warm and chilly temperatures. A win-win all around!
cashmere sweater: Uniqlo // scarf: True Religion // shades: Marc by Marc Jacobs // leggings: True Religion // boots: Prada
I picked up these coated denim leggings and scarf last week when I attended the Michigan Ave. True Religion event. Their fall/winter collection has so many great pieces, but I just loved the fit of these ‘Runway Leggings’. Not only do they fit like a glove, but they’re comfortable and they look like leather. So, I decided on a neutral v-neck cashmere sweater and classic black booties to keep my look feeling polished, but with a bit of edge.
shirt: Banana Republic // pants: Vince // shades: Prada // shoes: Vince // bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim
Black and white is a great timeless go-to look. I’m loving the clean lines and sheer details on this shirttail – a great alternative to a basic button-down. Oh, and did I mention I’m growing my hair out! I’ve had various pixie cuts for over 10 years, and now it’s time to try a short bob!
