I was lucky to have another opportunity to create a piece of custom clothing with eShakti. They are an online women’s apparel company offering sizes 0-36W and custom clothing. I wanted to create something light and comfortable to wear on my vacation to Tulum, Mexico. I decided a sleeveless jumpsuit in lightweight denim was the way to go! I submitted my measurements and was able to specify sleeve length, neckline, hemline, and whether or not to add pockets. My experience with eShakti was great – easy to order and super convenient. I have a custom jumpsuit for my trip and the entire process from design to arriving at my doorstep took less than two weeks!

I love the relaxed vibes of summer – soaking up the sun and taking it easy! Dresses, shorts, and sandals have been my go-to this season. While keeping it pretty simple, I like to add a red lip to bring it all together. I was excited to add Rimmel London’s ‘Call the Shots’ lipstick into my summer makeup routine. It’s a matte finish and provides long-lasting color, both important to survive the summer heat. A win-win for any look!

And just like that, it’s summertime in Chicago! It’s been in the mid to upper 80s for the past week. Summer is my season – sandals, dresses, beaches, patios, etc. This breezy dress is perfect for this type of weather. It’s lightweight cotton and has just the right amount of lace for a flirty detail. I’m still growing out my hair, though it’s not long enough to pull back yet. So silk wraps and bobby pins are my go-to.

I love the look of an oversized boxy button down and jeans. It’s comfortable, yet still looks polished with the right accessories. I picked up these nude loafers in Rome last month and seem to be wearing them on repeat these past few days. Happy Wednesday!

While I love summer and it’s my favorite time of year, I do look forward to wearing layers as the weather cools down. I picked up this cropped jacket over the weekend and can’t wait to add it into my fall routine. A pair of distressed shorts and simple tee are perfect for summer. To keep it polished, edit your casual look with a pair of slides, blazer, and simple clutch or backpack. I love minimalism and clean lines, so I went with neutrals and elevated basics.

I’m back from a wonderful vacation to Croatia, Bosnia and Italy – view the highlights on @taffetaandcedar. Days before I left for Italy, I picked up these wide-leg pants at Uniqlo…and I love them! They are perfect for travel and can be dressed up or down. I wore them to dinner a couple of times and for our train ride from Rome to Venice, which is about 3.5 hours. I love the clean lines and deep v-neck on this shift dress. We will be attending a wedding in Croatia soon, and I thought this would be a great dress to wear to the rehearsal dinner. It’s classic, comfortable and has just the right about of sass!

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs – Beige Glow

Who doesn’t want flawless looking legs in the summer? Laying out at the beach soaking up the sunshine is a true love of mine. Though with a busy schedule, it’s difficult to always find the time to maintain a summer glow. I was excited to try Sally Hansen’s Airbrush Legs over the weekend. It is easy to apply and dries quickly. I applied a thin layer to both legs before heading out for the day – wearing white! My legs felt smooth and flawless! A great addition to any summer beauty routine!
