I’m really enjoying these slip-on sneakers, they’re comfortable for wearing around the city and ideal for Spring. The perfect accessory to this sporty-chic look is a black backpack. I’m looking forward to using this bag for upcoming travel and as a nice change from my usual shoulder bags. Have a great Monday!

Layering scarves together is a great way to keep warm and add texture to a look. I like draping two scarves together around my neck and shoulders once or twice, depending on the length or size of the scarves. And it’s an easy way to jazz up a look or add a pop of color. What are some of your favorite ways to wear scarves or tie them?

An all-black look is hands down my favorite. It’s chic, simple, and flattering. I decided to pair a few of my favorite pieces together and add some subtle gold accents. A soft pink lip adds just the right amount of color. Have a great Monday!

I recently picked up this sweater for my husband and then couldn’t resist from wearing it myself! It’s the right amount of low-key style with a perfect touch of angora for a luxe softness. Slim pants with zipper details, cool tone accessories and a bright lip bring it all together and keep it simple. Have a great Monday!

I generally don’t wear long dresses, though I found this basic and comfortable one at H&M last week. I decided to break it up and add some extra warmth by layering a heavy wool sweater over it. A bright red lip, shiny patent leather penny loafer, and just the right amount of soft gold accessories  jazz it up a bit. Have great Monday!

Sometimes there’s nothing more appealing than a (mostly) all black ensemble. An oversized sweater paired with  combination leather legging is an instant classic. Add a bright red lip and slouchy boot and you’re all set! Have a great Wednesday!

I love the look of tailored outerwear. Clean lines, sharp collars, and an interesting drape always catch my eye. This soft wool coat belonged to my grandmother and adds a classic touch of elegance to any look. I decided to stick with a neutral palette, a bold red lip, and add a pointy boot for some flare.

The best way to make a look come to life is to have one statement piece. For me, this tends to be a great pair of shoes! This loafer is the perfect balance of menswear and feminine florals. I can see myself wearing these on repeat. What are some of your favorite statement pieces?

Today’s ensemble is a mix of two of my staples: knitwear and black. I love the contrasting large and small knit gauges on this sweater. Even though it’s a heavy kit, the raglan sleeves give it a chic and refined finish. I kept it simple with a black skinny pant and coat. A bold red lip gives my look the right amount of pop. Have a great Monday!

I’ve never been too excited about wearing hats. When I was little, I remember avoiding it as much as possible when it was time to go outside in the cold. However, now it’s one of my must-have winter accessories. Mostly out of function, rather than fashion. Since Chicago has some pretty frigid temperatures, lake-effect snow, and bitter winds during the winter; I can’t leave my house without one these days. I always like neutrals and classic pieces for  winter accessories – just like this ribbed hat with a fox fur pom-pom.
