Weekend Inspiration: Last April when I was in Roma for the Beatification of Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II, I was able to visit Casa Santa Marta. It’s located inside Vatican City and is currently where Pope Francis resides. The photo I took above is of his private chapel. Have a happy Easter weekend!

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milano is undergoing a major restoration. It was built by Giuseppe Mengoni between 1865-1877 and connects Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Scala. A very popular idea and design of 19th-century arcades. Watch the video below to see how detailed and amazing this process is and read more about it here.

This view from the Cupola di San Pietro is my all-time favorite! All of the different angles and perspectives of Roma on the way up are amazing. If you’re planning a trip to Roma any time soon, be sure to add it to your list! Buon weekend!

My weekend inspiration is this amazing view of the Arco di Costantino from the Colosseum.

Ciao! Here’s a postcard from Roma! Follow along on Instagram @taffetaandcedar!

sweatshirt: H&M (similar here) // scarf: Zara (similar here) // boyfriend jeans: United Colors of Benetton // shades: Marc by Marc Jacobs // sneakers: Vince // bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
I found these comfortable boyfriend jeans while shopping in Rome last week. Benetton is always one of my stops when in Italy; they have fun pieces and offer more relaxed styles than they do here in the US. Thankfully, you’re able to find these online! Have a great Monday!
