turtleneck: Uniqlo // overalls: Zara similar // bag: Barneys New York // shades: Prada // slides: Gucci
Overalls and jumpsuits are always a great choice for a casual and easy look. They’re versatile and super comfy – dress them up with heels or down with a tee and sneakers. It’s been cooler these past few weeks in Chicago, so I decided to wear a thinner turtleneck for a bit more warmth! To keep is simple and chic I went with a sleek backpack, slides and a red lip for a pop.
hat: Marc by Marc Jacobs // coat: Old Navy // scarf: Yves Saint Laurent // bag: Barneys New York // boots: TOMS
Snow boots are a wardrobe must if you live in Chicago. The salt, snow and slush will ruin those gorgeous designer boots, so don’t risk it! I recently added these suede booties with faux shearing lining from TOMS to my winter routine. They’re warm and great for light snow days in the city, and stylish enough to wear around the office.
top: Zara // skirt: H&M // shoes: 3.1 Phillip Lim // shades: Céline // lip: YSL – Rose Stiletto
I usually stay away from mid-length skirts and dresses since they make me feel shorter. But I love the pattern and flow of this one I picked up at H&M. Simple and chic! I decided on a slim pointy toe flat, though this is look great with a heeled sandal this Summer.
shirt: Old Navy // pants: Daryl K // shades: Prada // lip: YSL – Rose Stiletto
A white button down with slate grey pants is a fresh look for spring. To keep it simple, I added some neutral accessories and a soft pink lip.
blazer: Vince // shirt: Zara // bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim // heels: Vince // shades: Céline // lip: YSL – Rose Stiletto
A favorite look of mine: blazer, denim and pumps. This is classic and will easily transition from season to season by switching up a few basic pieces. I always think it’s a great idea to invest in quality wardrobe staples that will last and remain timeless.
sweater: Vince // leather jacket: ASOS // shades: Marc by Marc Jacobs // bag: Prada // ring: Tiffany & Co. // boots: Prada
I love the oversized neck on this sweater – it’s both chic and extra warm! To make my look feel a bit more edgy, I added a leather jacket, booties and a bright red lip.
denim shirt: Old Navy (similar here) // pants: Zara // backpack: Marc by Marc Jacobs // sneakers: Old Navy // shades: Prada // lip: YSL – Le Rouge
A little denim casual look for your Monday. A slouchy pant with a denim button down and sneakers is a great way to start the week. And you can never go wrong with a red lip! If you’re snowed in – like Chicago is – be safe, and stay warm!
earmuffs: Surell // sweater: Vince // bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim // lip: YSL-Le Rouge // boots: Stuart Weitzman
Winter is here. This past weekend Chicago received a blanket of snow and extra-cold temperatures in the teens. So, it’s time to layer and bundle! These fluffy fox fur earmuffs are perfect for this type of weather. They keep my ears warm and the fur is super soft and chic.
shirt: Zara (similar here) // shades: Marc by Marc Jacobs // bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim // lip: YSL – Le Rouge // boots: Prada
I’ve been looking for a pair of dressy ankle boots for months, and I finally found the pair! A comfortable heel, smooth lather and side-buckle are exactly what I had in mind. These are prefect for wearing with leather leggings, dresses and jeans. A NYE boot? I think so!
sweater: Forever 21 (similar here) // pants: Zara // shades: Marc by Marc Jacobs // lip: YSL – LeRouge // pumps: Vince
A loose and swingy knit with horizontal stripes is simple during the holidays. It’s easy to dress down with jeans and boots or dress up with pumps and a red lip. I love black and gold together, so a few gold accessories keep this look feeling chic and ready for holiday cocktails.
